Pulse Smart Pen

The Pulse Smart Pen from Livescribe, gets my vote for coolest gadget of the year.  Something a few years ago we would of only seen in a James Bond movie. This pen is amazing.  As you write it will record your strokes and audio if you like. Featuring USB, you can connect it to your computer and download your notes along with the audio.  If you need a review, simply tap the pen where your notes appear on the paper and it will playback what was being said as you were writing.  Now that is cool.
